How much should a really good web site cost?

What we've found from experience and research is that the market value of a high-quality website for a small business, created by a small design firm like mine, is typically in the range of $500 to $1,500. It often works out to about $100 per page, though that's more of a guideline than a rule.

For quality work, this price range is the most popular these days, something a business with a few employees can readily afford and justify this expense as an advertising cost, like a new sign for your store. In fact, it's pretty inexpensive when you consider that a good web site is a full-color ad that runs 24/7 and reaches the wole world. Compare that to the price of a modest B&W newspaper ad!

This price range also provides fair compensation for the time and effort required of a small agency such as New Site Designers to make your quality website.

Our price plan currently starts at $595, for a web site tailored to your business, with originality, functionality and quality.  We work with you to get it just right.  You'll have 5 or 6 pages, a couple of revisions, and some copywriting and stock photos to supplement the material you contribute.   If you want more pages, or extra features, like blogs, calendars, photography, online editing or e-commerce, the complexity will rise and the price will be accordingly more, but well worth it.

A great web site is a valuable investment for a business or a professional. Most people these days don't bother with the printed yellow pages anymore.  They just easily go online to find the companies that they would like to hire for services or to find products that they need. Your web site, just like any storefront, projects your image to your customers and prosecptive customers. It is ideal to present yourself as a quality service or on-line store.
